I just want everyone here help me out reporting bots, just go to (the granite citadel american dis 1) take a ton of screenshots and report them. I am just hoping killing off the bots will help do away with loot scaling. Thanks!

Yea because we all know they just hang out in Granite Citadel.
Certainly not Droks.
Definately not Bergen Hot Springs.
Rihlohn Refuge international? Hell No.
Yohlon Haven. A bot has never stepped foot there.

See where I'm going?

And by the time your screenshots and email hit ANET's "Stomp a Bot" department, 50 more bots have been created. 10 more accounts stolen.

GG.

ok fine I was harsh sorry about that but...

Everyone including ANET knows about bots. There are sooooooo many bot threads these days, and no matter how many ANET bans another 50 pop up in its place (as stated above).

again sorry for my other statement

ANet does not need our help in any way, shape or form. They simply need to have one employee to take a screenshot of any of the locations mentioned in the second post, jot down a few of the more oddly named characters, do approx 5 minutes of research on the account and report the findings to whomever has the power/authority to ban players. It prolly takes no more than 5-7 minutes per account to determine if its a bot, paid farmer or regular player.

With drops the way they are now, the only sector of the economy being affected is Ecto prices.

Relax.

Bots weren't the only reason for loot scaling.

The OP is at least trying to make the game better for everyone. Funny how people fill the forums with complaints and whines about how bots suck, and then when someone tries to make some kind of difference they flame the person just because it's "fun".

But I guess we should all be like the complainers and ignore the problem - because that always makes it go away!

Thanks for the help, but if you use the search button, you will see about another 35 threads, saying there is a bot some place, some where in the game. It's pretty much old news now, almost expected now a days.
